Portraits

So in my photography class that I am taking this summer one of the assignments was to do portraits of someone else and then self portraits of yourself.

For the portraits, Jaja Hsu offered to help me with these...after church we, with a couple of other friends, went out to the church playground and while she chatted with some people I snapped a couple of these shots which, with having nothing set up before hand and no previous planning, I thought turned out pretty well.

The self portraits were hard because you couldnt have anyone help you...not even to push the shutter button...so it was a matter of trial and effect...I ended up using a stick and standing it up and focusing on the stick and then i had 10 seconds to run throw the stick out of the way and strike a POSE...
